INTENDED AUDIENCE: Parents of ADHD children
WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION: This workshop will focus on developing a different way of helping your child to succeed with ADHD.
How your child approaches challenges and speed bumps can have a long-term impact. A Growth Mindset is a valuable tool to motivate and encourage your child to keep trying.
Parenting a child or teenager with ADHD can be challenging, but also fun and rewarding when effective strategies and tactics implemented.
Typically, children and teenagers with ADHD are difficult to motivate. This workshop is designed to help parents to understand an effective method to help motivate and encourage their child, through challenges, setbacks, and opportunities.
Note: No prerequisites are required to attend this workshop.
Kristi Briscoe, M.D. is a Board Certified General Pediatrician who “focuses” her practice on helping children, adolescents and families be successful with ADHD. Dr. Briscoe is the mother of a child with ADHD, so she has a very unique perspective on many of the day-to-day issues you're probably confronting.
