Brian Briscoe, M.D.

Brian Briscoe, M.D.


Dr. Briscoe takes time to understand his patients’ needs and designs treatment to help them experience lasting change. He possesses a deep sense of humility, which allows him to connect with people in meaningful and impactful ways. His excellence in patient care is matched with the breadth and depth of his knowledge in treating ADHD as well as other mental health concerns.

He graduated with honors from Centre College in Danville, KY. He attended four years of medical school followed by an additional four years of specialty training in psychiatry with the University of Louisville Department of Psychiatry, a highly respected psychiatric training program. During residency, Dr. Briscoe was elected to serve as the President of the Resident’s Association and received a number of awards, including awards from Community Mental Health Agencies, awards for research, and the Ruby & John Schwab Award for Academic Excellence.

He is Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Briscoe has been involved in research, published a number of scholarly articles, and presented for international conferences. He has served on the full-time teaching faculty for the University of Louisville Department of Psychiatry and continues to teach residents and medical students through a gratis faculty appointment. He is a recipient of the 2015 Nancy CA Roeske Excellence in Medical Student Education by the American Psychiatric Association.

In 2016, Dr. Briscoe was named one of Louisville’s ‘Top Doctors’ by Louisville Magazine, an award that is granted by vote of ~3,000 physician members of the Greater Louisville Medical Society.

Dr. Briscoe serves as Chairman of the national Psychiatry Section of the Christian Medical and Dental Association, sits on the Leadership Council for the local CMDA chapter, and as is actively involved in local and national efforts to assist pastors and churches in their efforts to care for persons who struggle with mental health issues.

Alphonso Nichols, M.D.

Dr. Alphonso Nichols has a strong reputation as an extremely competent, caring, and highly respected clinician. He spends countless hours working with our expert treatment team to ensure our programs and treatment meet and exceed the needs of both parent and child. His purpose is to provide our members with comprehensive ADHD treatment that works.

He earned his medical degree at the University of Louisville, completed psychiatric residency training at the University of Cincinnati, and a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Louisville. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. During training, he served as Chief Resident in Child Psychiatry and received numerous clinical and teaching awards, including several awards for Humanism in Medicine.
He went on to serve on the full-time teaching faculty at the University of Louisville, where he served as medical director of the psychiatry unit at Kosairs Children’s Hospital and was awarded the ‘Golden Apple’ teaching award.

Dr. Nichols has extensive experience and expertise in treating Children and Teens who struggle with emotional difficulties, Depression, ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety, OCD, PTSD, Autism, and a variety of other conditions.

Keri’s career as a therapist and coach brings her passion and purpose into full alignment. She uses her strengths and talents to help others use their strengths and talents to create a life that they love living! Keri believes in people with ADHD with her whole heart. If you are looking for a true advocate who is ready to help you live your best life, you have come to the right place. Keri knows that people with ADHD are creative, fun-loving, bright, resilient, and kind. More importantly, she knows how to help them live life optimally.

Keri has a Master’s of Social Work from the Kent School of Social Work at the University of Louisville and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Western Kentucky University.

Kristi Briscoe, M.D.

Kristi Briscoe, M.D.


Recognizing the needs and concerns of parents – as well as the harmful effects of undiagnosed, wrongly diagnosed, or sub-optimally treated ADHD – Dr. Briscoe pursued additional specialized study and training to become an expert in ADHD. She is highly skilled at providing parents and children with the strategies, tactics and tools needed to thrive while living with ADHD. She helps parents foster a growth mind-set and a system of positive discipline that leads their children to success. Positive, upbeat, engaging and nurturing are just a few words to describe Dr. Kristi Briscoe.

Dr. Briscoe specializes in the treatment of ADHD in Children and Adolescents. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Centre College, where she majored in Psychology and Biology and conducted research in child and adolescent health psychology. Dr. Briscoe completed medical school and residency training in pediatric medicine at the University of Louisville and was awarded for work in the area of developmental/behavioral pediatrics and genetics.

Dr. Dan Guy

Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Dan Guy is a gifted listener and highly observant. These traits allow him to hone in on each individual’s needs. He can quickly develop a deep understanding of who they are and how we can help them lean into their strengths. He provides expert guidance to our program development team so that all of our members receive quality comprehensive care.

He is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with over 29 years of providing quality mental health services in a variety of settings. Dr. Guy completed his undergraduate work at Kentucky Christian University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Bible (Magna Cum Laude). He then earned his Masters of Arts in Clinical Psychology at Morehead State University. He continued to work his way across the state of Kentucky, completing his formal education by obtaining his Doctorate of Psychology at Spalding University in Louisville, Kentucky.

Dr. Guy has had the privilege of working in a variety of settings throughout his career. While working in two of Kentucky’s Community Mental Health Centers, he provided psychological testing and worked with both children and adults struggling with issues from behavioral disorders to those struggling with emotional and thought disorders. Dr. Guy also served as the Clinical Manager at a Louisville hospital, managing the counseling services for an Inpatient Psychiatric Unit, a Partial Hospitalization Unit, a Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), a Chemical Dependency IOP, and an Outpatient office. He has served as the Clinical Director for a local Residential Youth Services organization providing services for Kentucky’s youth who are in State Care and are in need of Mental Health Services.

Dr. Guy is skilled in the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy interventions, which helps individuals recognize the connection between their thoughts and behaviors, and helps clients develop skills that they can use throughout their life to deal with issues of depression, anxiety, mood swings, relational problems, and issues of self-doubt and self-value.
