Creating an ADHD-Friendly Home Environment
Hi, I’m Dr. Kristi Briscoe.
Your home can either support or stress an ADHD brain. A few small tweaks can make a big difference in how your child functions day to day.
Try this:
- Declutter their workspace — Visual noise = mental noise.
- Use labeled bins or baskets — Help them know where things go.
- Limit multitasking — One task at a time. One direction at a time.
The goal isn’t perfection—it’s reducing chaos to create calm.
